So the final answer is...

ride alone
Moose is apparently a Burmese mixed with Siamese. He has classic Burmese sable coloring, but big blue Siamese eyes.

Also, good to know, he has 6 front toes on each front foot, and 5 toes on each back foot, for a total of 22. Compared to a normal cat's 18.

Awww, our cat Sweetfeet was polydactyl on his front feet, too.

The toe thing is a little freaky, but it's also rather cute, because it makes him look like he's wearing mittens.
